Our client, an internationally stocked CBD retailer, needed to ensure their operations and finance procedures were set up to enable their rapid scaling throughout Europe.
After an initial review of their operational procedure, we found that our client required a complete overhaul of their accounting and finance process in order to lay the groundwork for useful operational analytics on their stock and inventory levels that would enable them to fulfil orders more effectively.
We immediately set out a full operations plan to guide our client through a set of operational improvements that would allow their accounting system to be fully integrated into their eCommerce store and inventory management protocol.
Building on this work we made key hires within the finance function to ensure the invoicing and daily management of the new finance plan was being executed effectively. Building on this, we subsequently created inventory management models to ensure our client is always prepared for spikes in demand as they aggressively scale their business.
The result of the project was a complete overhaul of the essential support functions of the business, resulting in an operations and finance function that can cope with significant spikes in demand. We have now been mandated to assist our client in a fundraise that will help them achieve their expansion plan throughout Europe and beyond.
